Marjorie and Jeff Mason — mother and son team

With the growing concern about water, the Drought Tolerant Garden on  page 47 in Gardening from a Hammock will be of interest to many gardeners. Marjorie and Jeff Mason practice xeriscape gardening, gardening that requires no watering regardless of how hot and sunny it is. Although they stumbled into this practice by necessity, they now are serious advocates.

They  both love new and unusual plants and  their nursery , Mason House Gardens in Uxbridge, Ontario, has more than 1500 plant varieties.
